Sukle Flanked by airy wings, the abstract city rises from the cloud-filled bottom of the guitar and continues up the neck toward the sky and sun until doves soar into a darkened sky. This piece brings to life the energy, balance, movement and change that are characteristic of the artist's work, along with the element of self-discovery. Guitar Mania, a public art project in Cleveland, featured 10 foot high decorated fiberglass replicas of Fender Stratocaster guitars, designed and painted by celebrities and artists. The project was a collaboration between the United Way and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. After the exhibition, the guitars were auctioned off, with proceeds benefiting these charities.
