From the Guitar Mania collection. Guitar figurine titled La Bamba. Comes with its own sticker decorated, foam padded guitar case and stand. Made of resin. Measures 10" tall. Artist: Joe Walsh A guitar in the hands of legendary Joe Walsh is a work of art. Walsh, who played his guitar at Kent State University and went on to fame with the James Gang and later by soaring with the Eagles, used brilliant colors to create art of a different form for Guitar Mania. His Fender, in the style of Richie Valens' classic Strat, features shades of red on the body and a striking bright green neck. The Eagles were inducted into the Rock and Rock Hall of Fame in 1998. Guitar Mania, a public art project in Cleveland, featured 10 foot high decorated fiberglass replicas of Fender Stratocaster guitars, designed and painted by celebrities and artists. The project was a collaboration between the United Way and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. After the exhibition, the guitars were auctioned off, with proceeds benefiting these charities.
