Between the deep blue of its famous Lake Erie to the soft cloud-filled sky are the notions of its notable skyline and reflections in the water. The significant buildings share space with the trees that grace the entire community. This guitar portrays Cleveland in vibrant, energized colors. Guitar Mania, a public art project in Cleveland, featured 10 foot high decorated fiberglass replicas of Fender Stratocaster guitars, designed and painted by celebrities and artists. The project was a collaboration between the United Way and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. After the exhibition, the guitars were auctioned off, with proceeds benefiting these charities.
