From the Guitar Mania collection. Guitar figurine titled Great Place. Comes with its own foam padded guitar case and stand. Made of resin. Measures 10" tall. "Great Place" signifies the artist's personal great place in Cleveland - the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum and its home on the shores of Lake Erie. Light streams from spotlights (the guitar's control knobs) as a guitar soloist jams in front of a crowd of fans on a dark starry night. The city of Cleveland looms brightly in the background. Guitar Mania, a public art project in Cleveland, featured 10 foot high decorated fiberglass replicas of Fender Stratocaster guitars, designed and painted by celebrities and artists. The project was a collaboration between the United Way and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. After the exhibition, the guitars were auctioned off, with proceeds benefiting these charities.
