by Satoru Ishihara Katsuomi Hanamori and Tsurugi Yaegashi are rivals in kendo the Japanese sport of swordsmanship. Their competitive egos and contracting fighting styles clash and yet Katsuomi gradually finds himself attracted to the graceful and keen Tsurugi. At first Katsuomi hesitated pursuing his desire fearing that his feelings may blunt his kendo skills against Tsurugi in competition. However during the night of the summer festival he eventually gives in to his overwhelming love for him.
